Manuel Bernhardt is a polyglot software engineer, trainer, and independent consultant. He helps technology companies engineer, deploy, and operate highly available and fault-tolerant systems, and improve existing systems to meet predictable performance requirements. Manuel has experience in engineering and operating distributed systems. He is the author of the book Reactive Web Applications. He studied telecommunications at the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon. He lives in Vienna, Austria and enjoys traveling. He is fluent in English, French and German.
