Brett g Porter is a software developer specializing in applications in the pro audio/music instrument industries. He has been working as a software developer since 1990. From 1997-2021, he worked at Art+Logic, and returned there in March 2025 after a stint at Artiphon. He is involved with the MIDI Association and serves on its Executive Board. He creates and maintains open source projects. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife.
