Matt Gedye was born in South Africa, holds an Australian passport, and has a green card allowing him to live and work in the United States. He transitioned from a personal trainer to a nutrition and physiology researcher and is currently a PhD candidate in exercise physiology and molecular genetics. He enjoys writing and started a journal in his early twenties. His blog covers a range of topics, from music and craft beer to reflections on fatherhood and travel. He is passionate about wildlife and values experiences and time with loved ones.
