Rhys Wynne was born in 1984 in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. He works professionally in internet and web development, beginning in 2005. His main source of income is through WordPress development, and he develops his own WordPress plugins. He has spoken at WordCamps and contributed to WordPress releases. In 2013, he wrote a book, bbPress Complete. In 2018, he went freelance. Rhys is a long-time fan of video games and writes about them on his site, Retro Garden. He also enjoys football, supporting Colwyn Bay, Liverpool, and the Welsh national team. A more recent love is cricket, and he plays for Earlestown Cricket Club. He enjoys running, participating in parkruns and races. He also enjoys travelling, particularly to Germany, and often coincides trips with sporting events.
