Odoardus is a PhD student in Classical Studies, focusing on "Ways of contact with the Intelligible/Divine in the Neoplatonic and Christian philosophies from the 3rd to the 6th centuries A.D." He was born in 1995 and is originally from Mafra, but currently lives in Lisbon. He is interested in Greek and Roman literature and art, Ancient Philosophy, Theology, Literature, Pop Culture, Technology and other random things, which he writes about on his blog. He enjoys reading, outdoor activities like hiking and mountain biking, and studying languages. He speaks Portuguese, English, and Italian fluently, and also speaks French and Spanish. He is currently studying Modern Greek and Japanese. He also knows Latin and Ancient Greek and translates things into Portuguese. His translation of Longus' Daphnis and Chloe will be published soon.
