The creator of SILENT COMICS is an Illustrator & Designer who started the project as a departure from client work. SILENT COMICS is an experiment to prototype, design, and publish wordless comics, aiming to re-explore the format with the continuity of storyboards and widescreen comics. The blog shares the project’s slow progress. They are drawing silent comics for those who love comics but don’t feel like reading.

She worked at Tumblr as an engineer, engineering manager, and product manager. mb is an acclaimed speaker, giving talks at conferences focused on the intersections of technology and culture. She enjoys crafting classic cocktails, seeing live theatre, and editing Wikipedia.

Mike Rohde is a designer, teacher, and illustrator with a passion for visualizing ideas. He is the author of the bestselling books, *The Sketchnote Handbook* and *The Sketchnote Workbook*. Mike leads online and in-person workshops teaching sketchnoting techniques. He also helps authors communicate ideas visually in books. Mike is the founder of The Sketchnote Army, a showcase of sketchnoters and their work. He lives and works in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

CJ is a designer, indie developer, and glassblower currently living in Tokyo. They maintain a blog that is updated regularly and encourage visitors to subscribe to the RSS feed for notifications. He currently works as a Senior Designer & Foresight Strategist at Liip and runs Senken.Studio, focusing on strategic foresight and speculative design. Jérémie explores how emerging trends shape brands, businesses, and experiences. He co-founded CreativeMornings Geneva, helped organize UXRomandie and the IxDA local chapter, and co-founded UX Lausanne. He hosts the Hackstock podcast about privacy and hacker culture, and The Perfect Ones podcast about music and vinyl records. He is a member of Futuribles, the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, RADAR and Futures 4 Europe.

Philip Homnack is the Founder of tipsiti.com. He is currently located between Berlin and the Bay Area. His blog covers topics such as design, politics, urban planning, tech, AI, and business. He is also the Founder of TaskTiley and Tipsiti for Business.

Bluepikachu is a designer who enjoys design, programming, games, photography, and various creative activities. They write about a variety of topics on their blog, with a subjective and casual approach. They have worked on projects such as exping, Pixyer, NiFiTi, Slate Blog, Figma UX Writing UI2, and Files Preview.

Rasti is a design-oriented engineer from Iraq who moved to the US for college. Rasti studied Computer Science at Duke University and is currently working at an AI startup in NYC as a Software Engineer at Santai. Previously, Rasti was Lead Engineer at Intuition. Rasti enjoys creating new things without the pressure of being useful. Rasti has also held Software Engineering Intern positions at Duke Innovation Co-Lab and Plotr. Rasti has experience as a NMUNA facilitator and director, and with the Iraqi Youth Leadership Exchange and Gakko Japan.

KatyDee is a website designer who creates embodied websites for healers and service-based entrepreneurs. She also offers Human Design Clarity Sessions for Entrepreneurs. She helps clients translate what they feel into something clear, grounded, and easy for others to understand. KatyDee is a mom who grows flowers on a farm and enjoys strategy. She uses Human Design, Gene Keys, and intuitive strategy as tools for guidance. Her role is to help clients bring pieces together, so their next steps feel clear, grounded, and aligned with how they actually work best.

Dave on Design is a product manager or UX designer who writes about UX, design, management, and other topics. Dave's website, Dave on Design, features articles, essays, and critique. The site prioritizes beautiful typography, sentence spacing, dropcaps, and a light, Javascript-free design. The website is built with a custom static site generator written in Python which processes a set of Markdown files and outputs static HTML. Dave's site also implements a house style, adding smart quotes and consistent styling.

Roman Mittermayr used to work at Microsoft in Redmond, as a Product Planner for the Office Team. He is a book author on DIY microchip programming, an Indie Maker, and a Part-time Lecturer at the FH Salzburg and the FH Krems. He is currently working on projects including COMSENSEI and KLEINE KASSA.

Adam Chamberlin is the Head of Development for Mackman Group. He is a web developer based in the UK and passionate about the open web and a fan of the IndieWeb. His journey has taken him through bike shops, race courses, and ultra marathon trails. He grew up on a farm in rural England and has been tinkering with computers for a long time. He splits his time between writing code, riding bikes, and running long distances. He left the tech industry in 2016 to pursue a career in cycling, working as head mechanic at a bike shop. During Covid lockdown, he started running and completed multiple ultras and a marathon a month for a year.

Craig Munro is a product and engineering leader with over twenty years of experience building websites professionally. He specializes in editorial websites, blending product thinking and technical leadership to create sites that are fast, SEO-performant, editorially sympathetic, advertiser-friendly, reader-centric, and meet business objectives. Craig is currently Senior Engineering Manager for the Media team at IGN Entertainment, where he leads engineers that work across IGN's portfolio of high-traffic media websites. He holds an honours degree in Internet Computing (BSc.). Outside of work, he is a film-buff, a blue-belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and has a growing interest in gardening.

Kyle Thomas Hemingway is an award-winning creative strategist and storyteller with over a decade and a half of experience using storytelling to power visual communications. He is currently employed at Pegasystems as Principal Creative Strategist for Demo Consulting. He previously worked in-house at MIT Technology Review, the Boch Center, the Handel and Haydn Society, and was cofounder and Creative Director of arts consulting agency Opus Affair. His design and photography work has been featured in various media, and he is most proud to have work displayed in a restroom at Julius’ Bar in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.

Brajeshwar Oinam is on an adventure to create beautiful and meaningful products to improve the world for his daughters and their friends. He has been writing since 2001, focusing on technology, design, productivity, and startups. Born in Imphal, Manipur, India, he began his career in Bombay as a Computer Graphic Designer before transitioning to the Internet. He founded Oinam Software, which was later acquired. He also started oCricket, a network for Cricket lovers. Brajeshwar was also involved with Levoma, a mobile video-dating service. He has consulted with Mobisy as Chief Product Officer and is currently experimenting and building products focusing on Geospatial Data producing solutions for Climate Change.

Shashaank Bhaskar is a thinker and designer based in Bangalore, India. He aims to work on projects that foster connection, stimulate movement, and challenge existing perceptions. He can be found online @shshnkbhskr. His interests include food, films, reading, design, and basketball.

Dave Kellam lives in Montréal and makes websites for people. He loves design, learning, technology, and typography. He studied computer science and education at Queen’s University, and book design at the University of Reading. Dave has been creating things online for more than 20 years and primarily does custom WordPress development. He has helped build sites for friends, small businesses, large companies, newspapers, television shows, and higher-ed.

William Careri is a Pennsylvania-based practitioner and lecturer. He operates at the intersection of data, design, and dialogue. Currently, he is the Associate Director of Insights and Analytics at Temple University, the Managing Editor at Nightingale, and an Adjunct Professor at Northampton Community College. He has a passion for creating and telling stories through words and visual languages.

Michael Galpert is an entrepreneur who is passionate about building things. He worked at Epic Games as the Director of Product on Fortnite, focusing on player-to-player social interactions. Before that, he founded several startups, including Aviary, which was acquired by Adobe. Currently, he runs Contains Inc., an AI product studio. He grew up in New York, moved to the West Coast when he was 30, and has been in San Francisco for the last 12 years. He is a single dad to two daughters, ages 8 and 10. He also has a leopard gecko named Cheerio.

Chris Gittings is the President of Cogent Connections, a business development and marketing agency. Since 2020, he has led the company in helping businesses build relationships with strategic partners, acquisition targets, potential hires, and prospective clients. Cogent Connections focuses on genuine, value-added connections through professional networking events. Chris's background includes research at Case Western Reserve University in the Laboratory for the Study of Emotion, Motivation, and Self-Control, and neuroscience research at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He also worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Cleveland Clinic, working with children ages 6-9 who had ADHD, ODD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Mars Uribe is a technology professional and digital philosopher who enjoys silliness. They design, build, and manage digital products and platforms, and help people and organizations tap into emerging technologies. Mars can be found online as mxu or mxuribe. They share thoughts on the Fediverse (via Mastodon) and chat on the Matrix network. Currently, Mars is migrating their life partner's laptop to Linux Mint, helping their offspring with university, working at a maker of science-based, nutritional products, and listening to many podcasts related to Linux and free/libre/open source software. They are also trying to lessen their time on social media.

Dave Green is an IT professional with interests in computers, flashing LEDs, music, PowerShell, and books.
