Katy Schutte is a writer, improviser, performer, and teaching artist. She improvises shows in different styles and genres, and has toured to over 30 countries, performing, directing, and teaching. Her book, *The Improviser's Way, A Longform Workbook*, is published by Nick Hern Books. She performs with companies including Project2, Hell Yeah!, Brand New Musical and We Built This City on Rock and Coal. She designs improv curriculum and writes and performs theatre shows in different genres. She also writes and performs immersive productions and has worked on augmented and virtual reality and multi-platform work. She was the first improv performer in VR. Her writing spans mediums including musical theatre, radio songs, web series, feature film, AR/VR shows and games, and card games.
