Ben, also known as Venya, is a musician and audio professional based in the greater Nashville, TN area. A recent retiree from the US Army in late 2024, he completed the studio engineering program at Blackbird Studio in March 2025. He now works as a freelancer, focusing on tracking, editing, and mixing audio. Venya plays bass guitar for various local and remote projects, including Colors of Creation, Fall Line Drive, The Void Conspiracy, and Mr. Mark’s Improv Jam. He is interested in making music creation more accessible through open source tools, open licensing, and shared resources.

R. Pihlgren is a former techie who is now retired. He is learning how to play bass and guitar. He is also trying to figure out how to improve his health. He has been building his mental model for over 60 years.

Simone is a Gen X musician and sound designer based in the UK. Under the moniker Minutes to Midnight, Simone plays bass and designs sound. Simone has been running an online journal since March 2002, writing about music production, personal topics, politics, and web development.

Lee Kelleher was born in Liverpool and raised around north-west England. He has lived abroad, in Sri Lanka and Spain. Currently, his hobbies include writing code and playing bass guitar in a band. Before having children, he travelled, made short films, and dabbled in writing a comic book. Professionally, Lee is exploring commercial opportunities within the Umbraco ecosystem. He is actively involved with Umbraco at a community-level, having been awarded an Umbraco MVP numerous times between 2010 and 2023 (x13). He has also developed numerous Umbraco packages/projects.
