Pierce Freeman is a ML researcher and systems engineer based in San Francisco. He builds platforms and infrastructure with a focus on language modeling, web frameworks, and developer tooling. He is currently building MonkeySee and is a co-founder at Saywhat alongside Will McTighe. He maintains Mountaineer and Envelope. Before this he spent just over five years at Globality, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming Vice President of Machine Learning. He studied at Stanford University. During that time he was also an Engineer in Residence at Founders Circle Capital. These days he makes small seed-sized investments in promising deep tech startups and advises companies on engineering architecture and AI strategy. He also records conversations about AI and engineering over at pretrained.fm.

Carolina Baffigo is an architect, engineer, and builder focused on bringing purpose, performance, and profit together. She has almost thirty years of experience building things, starting as a mechanical engineer designing products and systems, and then moving into leadership roles building teams and commercial organizations. Her work focuses on helping organizations tighten how they sell and refine what they bring to market through Project Fluent™ and Profit Arc™ methodologies. Carolina helps leaders and teams who want their businesses to run better with clearer priorities, stronger execution, and healthier profit. She believes meaning and purpose show up through how we work, lead, and build.

Zach Souder is a lifelong tinkerer, learner, and builder who has lived in Denver for much of his life. He grew up working in parking technology. In 2024, he is focusing on learning how to build.

Sam D King is a Ruby web programmer who enjoys writing, running, and cooking. He loves football and has a passion for stats. Josh Morrow's work includes projects such as a ray tracer built in rust, second order cellular automata using HTML canvas, wavetable synthesis, chess heatmap, and an implementation of a paper on delimited continuations. He has written about his values, array programming, Makro, how to build a time machine, bash footguns, and PMTiles in DeckGL. He has given talks at Recurse Center.
