Matheus Ribeiro Vidal was born in Brasília, Brasil and now lives in Munich, Germany. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Brasília (UnB) and graduated in 2023. He is currently studying Computational Mechanics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His interests include CAE, CFD, Open Source software, pagode, beach volleyball, watching football, boardgames, cooking, travelling, reading and enjoying family life. He is currently working on multiple projects at TUM, including using Isogeometric Analysis for contact modelling, Large-Eddy Simulations for the validation of SIGMA modelling, and Structural Dynamics for investigating brake noise with BMW.
