John Peart is a policy professional with an interest in technology, services, and diversity. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Office for Digital Identities and Attributes (OfDIA), part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. In this role, he is accountable for the overall delivery of digital verification services measures. Previously, he was the Assistant Director for Market Oversight and Integrity at OfDIA. John has also held positions at the Government Equalities Office and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. He is originally from Devon, grew up in North Lincolnshire and Somerset, and now lives in London.
