Igor is a maker of things with a passion for humans, nature, science, and ideas. His professional background is primarily in software. He was an early engineer at Airbnb on the SRE team, where he helped scale the team and infrastructure. More recently, he has focused on leveraging software to solve problems in the climate space. He is also interested in tools and how they shape people and groups. He founded and led the Developer Happiness team at Airbnb. Igor is deeply concerned about the climate crisis and works as an angel investor, philanthropist, advisor, and technical contributor.
