Anaël Verdier is a pulp and pop author, a hypersensitive clown, and a supporter of other authors. Verdier is a novelist and short story writer who flirts with the poetic. Their characters vibrate with raw desires. They often struggle, but they live. Verdier's books stage the life drive in its resistance against the forces of entropy, both internal and external. Verdier helps authors who want to explore the fringes of their practice and delve deeper into their language and sensitivity, to find the accuracy of their texts. They help develop a sustainable practice based on technical excellence and the singularity of each author's voice. Anchored in fifteen years of studying dramaturgy and narration, Verdier helps develop processes using proven tools. Verdier is in residence at the Corderie Royale de Rochefort in March 2025 and has been a resident of the Demons house since January 2026. They are a member of the clown laboratory of the company Jusqu’au bout du monde.
