Clare Wassermann is a contemporary British painter and creator of artist books. She lives in Talybont, Ceredigion, Wales, and is currently a PhD Researcher in Eastern Philosophy and Western art practice. Her paintings visualize instances of love, care, and hope, forging intimacy and connection with the natural world. Ecological systems and connections with consciousness are foundational to her work. Clare also works as an illustrator, contributing to Juno Magazine and illustrating books for author Kathy Walsh. Her studio is at Maker’s Dozen, part of Wolverhampton City Council’s Art Gallery complex.
