Az Samad has been teaching guitar for 27 years and considers himself a guitar geek. He has written a book on jazz improvisation and another on jazz guitar licks and etudes. He has also created an online fingerstyle guitar course and written guitar lesson packs for jazz and beginner guitarists. Az teaches guitar via Skype to students worldwide. He has taught at Berklee College of Music’s Summer Guitar Sessions and conducted workshops at Wesleyan University and The Freight & Salvage.
