Free/Open Source Software Websites

Matt Lee, also known as mattl, has been working with software and the web since 1998. His experience includes Visual Basic, website and application development, and open source software. He worked at the Free Software Foundation for several years and co-founded Libre.fm, a music community site, and the GNU social project. From 2014-2016, he was the Technical Lead at Creative Commons. In 2015, he co-wrote and directed a feature length live action movie, Orang-U: An Ape Goes To College. He worked on the W3C's wpt.fyi as part of the Google Chrome team under contract. From 2018-2024 he worked doing a mixture of system administration, IT, security and working on PCI auditing for a small business in Boston, before switching in 2024 to a new role focused on accessibility. He is currently looking for work in the Boston, MA area or remote in the US.
