Vinney Cavallo is an engineer at OpenNode and a freedom technology enthusiast. He is currently building Catallax, a protocol intended to facilitate uncensorable, decentralized labor markets and permissionless payments. Previously, he cofounded the Operating Function Company and exnilio, a software consultancy and web/app development shop. He enjoys creating things and trying to make a positive difference in the world. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife, after moving from Brooklyn in 2017 seeking more living space, land, and proximity to the ocean. In his free time, he enjoys pen and ink illustration, playing drums, reading philosophy, and working on software projects.
