// BLACKISTONE.COMKevin Blackistone is an artist and researcher. He is an Adjunct Lecturer in Immersive Performance. This semester he will be leading a workshop class teaching large scale, immersive, durational, interactive movement/performance narratives. His paper detailing the process used to create blended radiological chimeras has been accepted for publication as part of the Conference on Expanded Animation, to be presented as a part of the Ars Electronica Festival. His anti-improvisational alogrithmic interface thesis work was presented as the finale of the opening night reception for the 50th International Computer Music Conference in Boston, June 2025. His paper detailing the production and function of his spherical looper will be included in New Instruments for Musical Expression 2025 in June. He defended his thesis "Hostile Architectures as Algorithmic Intervention in Musical Improvisation" at the Tangible Music Lab , Linz, making himself the first graduate of the MA, Postdigital Lutherie program.
