She is a Bitcoin educator, author, and the founder of Bitcoin for Fairness, a non-profit focused on Bitcoin adoption in the Global South through education and capacity building. Her work centers on promoting Freedom Tech like Bitcoin and Nostr, empowering individuals and the civil society to achieve financial freedom, digital privacy, and self-sovereignty. Anita has worked with the Human Rights Foundation and travels to support local communities in learning about Bitcoin. She shares her experiences through keynotes, her book (L)earn Bitcoin, her online learning platform Crack the Orange, and her YouTube channel.

Heather Burns is a tech policy wonk based in Glasgow, Scotland. She works for an open web built around international standards of human rights, privacy, accessibility, and freedom of expression. She advocates for policy and technology developments which keep the internet open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy. Heather is currently freelancing in the UK policy x digital and human rights space. She is also doing an MPhil in technology regulation and human rights at Strathclyde Law School. She is the author of a book on practical privacy for web professionals and students, published by Smashing Magazine in November 2022. Also in 2022, she completed the Internet Society Mid-Career Fellowship.
