Julian Rubisch, born in Vienna in 1981, is a freelance sound artist, software engineer, and electroacoustic composer. He worked as a research associate at the Institute for Creative Media Technologies at FH St. Pölten from 2007 to 2014. He completed the Certificate Program in Computer Music & Electronic Media at MDW Vienna (2012-2015). He has presented performances and installations at venues such as ZKM Karlsruhe and Ars Electronica. He explores boundaries between sound art and music, order and chaos, and different realms of listening.
