Dennis Sy is a singer and songwriter with producer credits on 2 Grammy® winning Jazz albums. He is a BMI songwriter and wrote the theme song and soundtrack for Jhett Tolentino ’s documentary LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE. His song TWO STEPS FORWARD has been used as a rallying anthem for positive change. He has received multiple songwriting nominations and awards from award giving bodies. He was also awarded the 2011 Outstanding Artist Award by the Filipino American National Historical Society New York Chapter. Originally from the Philippines, Dennis Sy now makes his home in New Jersey. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and has also played stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and the Mohegan Sun Casino.
