Meysam Azad is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with over eight years of professional experience. Born in Iran, he moved to Turkey and lived there for a year from 2021-2022. As of 2022, he is currently living in Indonesia. He is married and has two dogs named Ruby & Sky. His areas of expertise include Kubernetes, containerization & serverless (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers, etc.), Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Hetzner. He also has experience with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI, etc.), monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, etc.), and GitOps principles and tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD, etc.). Outside of work, he workouts 4-5 times a week, practices piano, enjoys reading non-fictions, loves riding motorcycles, and enjoys deep conversations.
