Vaishali Thakkar is a Linux Kernel and Virtualization engineer based in Berlin, Germany. She has been working on systems software for the last 10 years, currently focusing on Confidential Computing. She occasionally contributes to open source community management and technical writing projects, both paid and volunteer. Vaishali has contributed Linux Kernel and Xen patches. In the past, she was a volunteer coordinator for Linux Kernel projects with Outreachy and a co-organizer of RGSoC with the Travis Foundation. She enjoys sharing knowledge at conferences about software development and systems programming and previously conducted Linux Kernel workshops in Indian universities.
