Andrew Liu is a software engineer and angel investor living in the Washington DC area. He works at Google on Chrome Security and previously handled authentication at Google. He was also the former maintainer of Google Authenticator. Before returning to Google, he worked at startups, including Scale AI where he founded their machine learning infrastructure team. Andrew graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland in computer science and published security research as a student. He enjoys playing piano, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and occasionally performs improv and standup comedy. He is also the vice president of the Asian Pacific Alumni Network for UMD.
