Ben is a software engineer and Mandarin speaker based in Canada. He builds apps using Ruby on Rails and AI. He shares his thoughts on web, game, and technology development on his blog. Ben is currently building Stray, a link-sharing service. He also developed English Fox, an AI-powered vocabulary learning tool. He was a core developer for the Darkstar Project, an open-source recreation of the Final Fantasy XI server, where he focused on monster AI. Ben founded Throw The Project, a Flash game studio.
