Josh Beckman is a Senior Staff Engineer at Shopify, building a visual programming platform for merchants and improving the interfaces for Shopify developers. He lives in Chicago. He is an engineering leader specializing in complex systems design and delivery at scale. He has a background in high-velocity startup environments. He leads multiple teams within Shopify’s large engineering organization to deliver highly complex interfaces at scale and speed. He focuses on being a technical expert who can advise teams and drive technical design decisions in complex systems. He is particularly excited about integrating AI and LLMs into software development practices and building systems that make these technologies accessible to the public. Keith Fowler is a seasoned marketer, qualified at postgraduate level with experience gained in the full marketing mix; blending both digital and traditional methods. He is an experienced Chartered Marketer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing & Agile Practitioner. He also holds a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring. Keith understands the importance of building strong relationships in an increasingly demanding marketplace and is deeply passionate about using his skills to help create and sustain social value, build communities and connect people. Cal McKim was born in Golden, Colorado, and later moved to Houston, TX, then Anchorage, AK. He attended the University of San Diego, where he earned a degree in Neuroscience. Cal then pursued an MSc in Marketing at Cass Business School in London, UK, where he currently resides. His interests include baseball, tennis, music, nutrition, and writing.

Peter Knox is the VP, Head of Marketing, and Client Experience Director at BookHighlight, a book marketing and sales agency based in Brooklyn, New York. He guides authors from proposal through publication and beyond. Peter is driven by a passion for connecting books to readers. Prior to BookHighlight, Peter was the Senior Marketing Manager leading the trade business book group at Wiley for almost fourteen years. His publishing career began at Washington College, where he served as Student Director of the Literary House Press and was awarded the Haddock Prize for Publishing Excellence. He enjoys traveling, taking photos, watching movies, and attending concerts and sporting events.

Eric Melchor is the Founder of 3rd Space Bucharest, happy hour-style networking events that bring people together in a fun way combined with lightning talks. He is an adventurous connector, creative strategist, and dad to two incredible kids. Born in Houston and now living in Romania, Eric has built his life around courage, curiosity, and community. He launches grassroots fitness programs for kids and hosts cocktail parties in Bucharest. Eric is committed to living fully, raising kind and curious children, developing ideas that ignite joy, and serving as a catalyst for authentic human connection.
