Rachel Toalson is an autistic author who writes books for kids, teens, and adults. Her stories examine the intersection of neurodivergence and mental illness and feature characters who challenge societal norms. Her books have received awards, been Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selections, and are studied as curriculum in English classes. She lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her family and enjoys running, reading, writing, and drinking peppermint green tea.
