Juan is a Software Engineer working on Microsoft Loop. He was born in Mexico City and grew up there before moving to the suburbs of New York and then Vancouver Island. He is proficient in both Spanish and English. Juan studied Music & Computer Science at the University of Victoria, but his interest shifted primarily to programming. He previously worked on Microsoft Excel. Outside of work, Juan enjoys software, writing, music, books, soccer, and coffee. His main personal project is okjuan.me/vbook, a blog he calls a virtual book. He also creates playlists on Spotify.
