Tjerk enjoys creating easy, fun, and quirky web applications. He works on various side projects, gives lectures about design, and pursues analog photography. He values open source, accessible, simple, inclusive, and durable design.

Josh Richards is a Product Engineer based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, with over 5 years of professional experience. He currently works at Xero, contributing to the Xero Analytics platform. Prior to this, he was a Software Engineer at Xero, where he helped modernize the Invoicing platform. Josh has also worked as an Intern Engineer at CR Automation. In his free time, he enjoys building simple web apps to solve everyday problems. Some of his projects include Ten Thousand Pixels, Piano Theory, Album Listen List, and Ticker Tracker.

Alex Catalan Flores is a software engineer who is passionate about building impactful products. He enjoys working on challenging problems and learning new things. He is currently working at Google. Previously, he worked at Microsoft. He studied Computer Science at Cornell University.

Chris Proulx explores the practice of leadership at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern science. He has spent much of his career in the online learning industry and currently works as part of the senior leadership team at Humentum, a non-profit social enterprise. His work focuses on improving the effectiveness of global development and humanitarian organizations, nurturing compassionate, generous, connected, and high-performing teams. Chris's exploration of leadership is fueled by his interest in Buddhist meditation and mindfulness, and their role in organizational, societal, and planetary issues. He lives in Ithaca, New York, and volunteers on affordable housing and economic development.

Jesse Hoogland is an AI-safety researcher and co-founder of the Singular Learning Theory (SLT) for AI safety research agenda. This led to him co-founding and now directing Timaeus, a nonprofit research organization studying this agenda. Together with his team, he has scaled the organization from 3 to 16 staff and raised $3.5M+ in grants. In addition to co-authoring papers directly, he is an experienced communicator with 20+ talks at frontier AI labs and academic venues. He runs Timaeus, a nonprofit AI safety research organization working on singular learning theory (SLT) for alignment.
