Sarah McCulloch is a writer, thinker, and entrepreneur. She maintained an active blog from 2009-2014. She was born in London and attended grammar school in Chelmsford, Essex. She has a degree in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Occupational Therapy from London South Bank University. Ordained as the Reverend Sarah McCulloch in 2014, she is also an NHS manager and runs the Autistic Empire. Her research on the sensory experiences of autistic adults was published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy in 2023, and she edited and published the book, Across Sacred Thresholds, in 2025.
