Hamish Johnson is a photographer and physicist. He recently completed his Bachelors in Physics with a certificate in Digital Journalism at Simon Fraser University. He is currently working in quantum communications and optical control systems, with a side focus on data communication and science journalism related to quantum physics. He enjoys landscape and nature photography, and is pushing his comfort with portrait work. He also enjoys hiking and skiing. He experiments with programming languages like Python, C++, Ruby, and JS to develop his own projects. He maintains a personal website to showcase his work in physics, prototyping, and digital journalism.

Peter Barnett is interested in AI safety, physics, math, and ensuring a bright future. He is particularly focused on avoiding catastrophic outcomes from powerful AI systems. He believes humans might build these systems soon and that this is a pivotal time in history. Peter has a background in theoretical physics, specifically simulating quantum optics and quantum fluids. He is now focusing on AI safety, working on ensuring that advanced AI systems are trustworthy, stable, and beneficial. He currently works on technical governance at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute. In the past, he has done conceptual and empirical AI safety work.

Ian Emnace is a web developer who enjoys working with React. He has professional experience with Next.js, Vue, Node.js, and MongoDB. Vim is his preferred text editor, and he uses Linux as his main operating system. He enjoys keyboard-driven software and open-source software, and authors his own open-source contributions. Ari Merten is a third-year Quantum Engineering and Physics student at UNSW. Ari's interests include quantum computing, playing video games, and updating their website. On the website, Ari shares physics explainers, music reviews, and woodworking projects. Ari is currently working on book reviews and plans to change the website's URL style.

Sparsh Mathur is a student at BITS Pilani, completing a dual undergraduate program in Physics and Electrical Engineering. Growing up in Bangalore, India, Sparsh is passionate about questions that encourage different perspectives. He enjoys reading and re-reading, with interests including physics, epistemology, and artificial life. He draws inspiration from thinkers like David Deutsch and Karl Popper. Sparsh is open to collaborations and discussions.
