Ryan Basden is a professional attacker who demonstrates the consequences of technology misuse. He is the Owner of Empiric Security. Previously, he worked in Red Team at Bishop Fox and held multiple roles at risk3sixty, including Penetration Testing Practice Lead and Senior Penetration Tester. He has also worked as an IT Security Systems Administrator and IT Helpdesk Technician. Ryan holds the OSCP and GWAPT certifications. He has spoken at events such as Wild West Hackin' Fest and BSides Atlanta.
