Rae Farine is a trans non-binary artist based in the Hudson Valley of New York. Their practice integrates painting, movement, and ritual to create works that explore emotion and embodiment. Guided by music and somatic process, their paintings emerge as physical records of play and release. Their work isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Each piece is an imprint of lived emotion, a dialogue between structure and surrender, trauma and joy, order and wildness. In the studio, they create spaces where freedom becomes possible, where celebration can be carved from what was once constriction.
