Maraoz studied Computer Science and Engineering at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Maraoz currently lives in Uruguay. Maraoz cofounded and was formerly CTO at OpenZeppelin. Maraoz created Proof of Existence, one of the first non-financial bitcoin apps, and also helped create Decentraland. Maraoz is interested in indie games, e-sports, creative coding, educational videos on YouTube, music, and podcasts.
