Naz founded design studio Weightshift and co-founded the Chicago city blog, Gapers Block in 2003. From 2016-2018, Naz helped build the product design team at VSCO. Since then, Naz has been serving as a founding designer for various startups and a fractional design director for a VC firm. Naz makes Letter Club with Scott Robbin. In 2025, Naz co-founded Latent Co. with Ryan Carver and Juan Pablo Zambrano to make a Mac photo editor called Aphera. Naz is Malaysian-American.
