Thorsten Zöller was born in Oberhausen, Germany, and spent about 20 years there. He studied physics and earned a PhD in theoretical physics. He currently lives in Frankfurt, Germany, with his wife and son. He is (mostly) vegan and enjoys freshly ground and brewed coffee. He is a fan of the OpenBSD operating system and the vi editor.
