Jeannette Goon is a PhD candidate researching media and cultures in Southeast Asia, with a focus on the female body. She also does strategic communications for the World Bank Group in Malaysia. Her blog (2019-2021) is a reflection of her pursuits and interests, ranging from essays on secular practices with religious origins to digital illustrations. She has previously quit her job to attend a coding bootcamp and started and sold an ecommerce business.
