Jan Dittberner is a software architect and IT consultant. He received his Abitur in 1996 and served in the military as a microwave radio relay technician. From 1997 to 2000, he studied computer science at the Technical University Dresden, with a secondary subject of cognitive psychology. He worked as a software engineer for newtron AG and bluesoft AG before joining Communardo Software GmbH as a software engineer and architect. Since 2012, he has been a software architect and since 2017, a principal IT architect at Deutsche Telekom MMS GmbH. Jan is also a Debian Developer since 2009, maintaining the Debian Member Portfolio Service, and a CAcert.org infrastructure administrator, leading the infrastructure team since 2009. He is a supporter of the Free Software Foundation Europe since 2013.
