Text-Based Installation Websites

Adib Fricke is a conceptual artist whose work revolves around the meaning and perception of words and text. Since the late 1980s, he has explored the impact and plasticity of language through text-based installations and interventions in public space. Fricke's projects, such as The Word Company, Wordspaces, and Superwords, often engage in a dialogue with their spatial surroundings, using language as a material for poetic messages. He studied visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and Japanology at the Freie Universität Berlin. Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1962, he currently lives and works in Berlin.
