Laurie Owen is a theatre practitioner and educator based in Nottingham. He trained in Theatre and Performance at The University of Leeds and has practiced performing arts since 2009. Since 2018, Laurie has been teaching performance skills to adults, and currently teaches theatre workshops at Nottingham Playhouse. Laurie is passionate about co-creating entertaining work that captures the spirit of liveness and elevates marginalised perspectives. He is a champion for increasing access to the theatre for the trans community through creative work and educational outreach initiatives. His pronouns are he/him.
