Dave on Design is a product manager or UX designer who writes about UX, design, management, and other topics. Dave's website, Dave on Design, features articles, essays, and critique. The site prioritizes beautiful typography, sentence spacing, dropcaps, and a light, Javascript-free design. The website is built with a custom static site generator written in Python which processes a set of Markdown files and outputs static HTML. Dave's site also implements a house style, adding smart quotes and consistent styling.

Piotr was born and bred in a small town in south-western Poland. He knew he wanted to become a designer as soon as he launched Adobe Photoshop 3.0. He started in print and designed album covers at a small, independent record label. He won the Apple Design Award in 2006. In 2013, he moved to San Francisco. He has been a print and UX designer, game designer, product owner, scrum master, creative director, usability tester, innovation leader, sales engineer, team manager, mentor, brand manager in digital marketing, chief of staff, and a personal therapist to a number of executives. After a decade in the US, he moved back to Europe. His hobbies include running, mountain biking, hiking, taking photos, headbanging to thrash metal, making pots, reading, watching movies and shows, writing shell scripts, cooking, traveling, and studying contemporary philosophy and geopolitics.

Stu is a freelance front end developer and digital designer. He designs and builds websites for growing businesses and creative agencies. He began his digital journey as a web designer over 20 years ago. He is passionate about UX. He learnt WordPress and offers complete web solutions. Since 2016, he has been self-employed, helping businesses understand how to make the most of the web. He also works with agencies, delivering design solutions and building websites for their clients.

Dave Smyth is a designer working at the intersection of user experience, privacy, accessibility and sustainability. He has been working independently since 2013. He uses his personal site to let people book Unoffice Hours calls, write about various topics, and collect interesting bookmarks. He also sends out a newsletter with five interesting links every Thursday.
