Kevin Coyle is a technical lead and design system consultant based in the UK. From a young age, he has been interested in technology, science fiction and video games. He tinkered with computers from a young age, eventually learning to program. He studied Physics with Technological Physics at university. In the mid 2000's he ran a web development business. He then worked as a Drupal developer for TalkTalk, eventually becoming their lead developer. He then worked as a contractor in medcomms for around 4 years. After that, he spent a year developing Drutek. He then worked for an agency based in Chichester, and was promoted to tech lead for a new design system at Pfizer. He is currently a consultant at Big Medium. He has shifted his focus recently to A.I and machine learning.

Nick Long is a systems architect, management consultant, yoga teacher, risk manager, trader and online educator. He designs systems and builds his projects from the ground up. He programs computers and has done so since the early 1980s. He previously worked in management consultancy, including designing trading systems at the London Stock Exchange, and managed risk at Morgan Stanley, where he was promoted to Executive Director. He practiced yoga and taught Iyengar Yoga until 2019. He was a partner in a software company and loves learning. He believes happiness requires health of body, a clear and peaceful mind, and a safe financial foundation.

Neil Taylor is interested in exploring our relationship with technology. He consults with businesses to help them Scale with Confidence at Acumore Consulting, focusing on systems, processes, workflows, automation, and data. Neil is also interested in Leverage and building systems to take advantage of available technology. He shares book notes and reviews of things he finds interesting. In the past, he owned a float tank centre, worked in a big corporate, ran a digital agency, and was an award winning former accountant. He has lived in Sweden and Japan and travelled South America. Gaz Joyce is a lead design consultant at Valtech UK. He has 18 years of experience in the digital design industry and a passion for design and accessibility. Gaz enjoys solving complex problems as part of a team and uses evidence to drive certainty into assumptions. He focuses on delivering inclusive digital services to the public and helping organizations make accessible, digital experiences through inclusive working practices. Gaz has been designing and building web interfaces since graduating in 2004 with a degree in Multimedia Design. Padraig Lamont is someone who "thinks computer," according to his brother. He learned to program from Bucky Roberts of thenewboston. He has created Java calculators, Scratch games, Minecraft mods, a RuneScape botting client, JSON parsers, and a misinformation research tool. He created RoyalUr.net, a website where people can play the Royal Game of Ur. He also co-created The Misinformation Game, a social media simulator, and Tyche, a Python library for building belief models. He currently works for DUG and lives in Canberra, Australia.

Angela Randall is a writer and editor. She helps people tell their stories, whether through books, articles, or marketing materials. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from individuals to large corporations. Angela is passionate about helping people communicate their ideas effectively and creatively. She is based in the Pacific Northwest.

Andrew Chapman is a writer, editor, and book designer based in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, UK. He helps people publish non-fiction books. Andrew is the editor of Northern Earth, Discover Your Ancestors magazine, and the British Association for Local History’s Local History News journal. He co-writes Histories, a weekly newsletter, and publishes history books at Heritage Hunter. Andrew also walks a lot and is interested in history, landscape, and psychogeography. He co-created and ran a book recommendation website from 2005 until it was sold in 2019.

Mike Bell is a developer, tinkerer, coder, hacker, and husband in his 30s. He is powered by coffee and whisky. Mike lives with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Generalised Anxiety Disorder, which he has had for all of his adult life. His views are his own.

Becca is an indie Apple platforms developer and a software engineering manager. She is also a Mum, tech tinkerer, reader, runner and occasional gamer. She is currently working on Chronicling, her iOS app for tracking anything. Before working in tech, she completed a PhD in Geophysics at the University of Oxford. She is mostly active on Mastodon. She has appeared on podcasts such as Launched with Charlie Chapman and iPad Pros with Tim Chaten to discuss Chronicling. Robert Glaser is a research associate at the Chair of Software Engineering II at the University of Passau. His research interests include software testing, search-based software engineering, and software engineering education. He is involved in teaching and research projects in these areas.

Jim has been blogging at his domain since early 2004. He got his start on the Mac platform as a design artist in the early ’90s and created the Mac OS X utility Yasu in 2002. In 2017, he turned the app over to another developer. Today, Jim works as the Director of Salesforce Applications for VIZIO, now owned by Walmart, where he runs the team responsible for their Salesforce initiatives. He is a Salesforce certified administrator, developer, and consultant. Other nerdy experience includes Microsoft SQL, MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and just enough Java. He can still get decent results out of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop when he has to. In his spare time, he likes to write code, spend time with friends and family, play music, and enjoy getting outdoors on a hiking trail.

Pekka Laiho is a backend-focused software engineer. He is interested in finance and investing. He maintains a blog about these subjects. Pekka is a partner and board member in Eneroc Oy, a software and technology company located in Turku, Finland.
