He is the creator of the OwnTracks frontend and actively develops open-source software, including Kiesel, a JavaScript engine written in Zig. He was previously an active contributor to the SerenityOS project, particularly LibJS and LibWeb, which evolved into the Ladybird browser. He lives in London and enjoys traveling Europe by train.

They found temporary relief from driving in a car and swinging in a hammock chair.

He specialises in traditional front-end development practices and has a long-time obsession with well-written, semantic, and accessible code. Chris sits in the murky waters between design, front-end, and back-end engineering. He strongly advocates for the use of design systems. Prior to his current role, he was a member of the computer science faculty at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and worked as an IT consultant.
