Carl Barenbrug is a product designer and creative director. His research and product design lab, Friction by Design, explores the role of friction in digital design. He argues that while removing unnecessary friction is often beneficial, deliberately introducing friction can create moments of awareness and encourage users to be more considered in their actions. He believes that unrelenting frictionless design optimizes for motion, not meaning, and that good design respects attention and limits.

Massimo Curatella is a Senior Strategic Designer, Facilitator, Writer, Trainer, and Educator. He works in the fields of Service Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, User Research, User Interface Design, and Usability Testing. He also manages small remote groups of designers and developers. Massimo facilitates learning processes by simplifying the complex and aims at improving the well-being of people and the planet while promoting the sustainable adoption of new technologies and co-designing ecosystem-centered solutions. He is based in Rome, Italy and writes about his experiences on his blog.

Stephen is a designer from the US, currently living in the Netherlands. He is the Creative Director at Rabobank and the author of *Responsive Design Workflow*, a book about content-first design and prototyping. Previously, he was Head of UX at Catawiki and worked with clients through his company Zero Interface. He has conducted training and workshops for design teams at various companies. Stephen writes about work and has written for publications such as Smashing Book #3 and Dutch magazine *Web Designer*. He also speaks at industry conferences.

Tanja de Bie – van Leeuwen is a UX Coach and Senior UX Designer at KLM (project). She is a writer who enjoys sharing her thoughts and experiences on her blog. Tanja has a background in graphical design and web design, and has been freelancing in UX Design since 2009. She also enjoys cycling and is a former Dutch National Champion in Downhill racing.

Joel Santos is a software developer from Brazil specializing in React/Next, Node.js and Angular 2+. With over 8 years of industry experience, he creates web applications for clients ranging from startups to large corporations. Joel is passionate about product development and UX design, with a focus on the details that enhance user experience.

Jordan Moore is an intuition-led designer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He focuses on product design, responsive web design, and UX design. He is interested in the pursuit of effortless ease and explores themes of attention, awareness, and meditation. He reflects on personal experiences, such as a disassociation event, and the desire to return to a state of childlike wonder and presence.

Andrew Haglund lives in Urbana, IL, and works as a UX lead at John Deere. He studied industrial design at the University of Illinois and previously worked at Flats or Spikes, Nutrien, and Agrible. He enjoys building furniture, playing Nintendo, futzing on the piano, and going on dog walks. He also enjoys movies and TV, and has an interest in micro apps.

Victor Ponamariov is a UI engineer with over 14 years of experience designing and building user interfaces. He graduated from university in 2011 and has worked on a variety of projects, including CRM systems and applications using technologies like jQuery, CodeIgniter, Laravel, and VueJS. Since 2021, Victor has been running a newsletter covering topics related to usability, development, and design. He also released a book called 100 UI/UX tips and has a YouTube channel. Currently, he is focusing on content creation.

Chi Señires is a UX Designer from the Philippines, currently working at Humanforce. Chi is also the Group Leader for Friends of Figma, Philippines, and a Core Volunteer at UXPH. Chi enjoys gaming, bike commuting, and sharing thoughts on various topics including design, coding, and life. Chi is familiar with front-end web development, particularly HTML & CSS, and is interested in accessibility. Chi co-founded and moderates the Pinay Bike Commuter Community and co-founded and administers Tambayan 404.

Johann Wahlmueller is a UX designer and independent app developer based in Hong Kong. He splits his time between UX consulting and working on his own projects. Johann strives to design products and experiences that are both functional and engaging. He is open to collaboration and enjoys discussions on Mastodon. He has a history in the entertainment and technology industries, including roles in music blogs, publicity, and podcasting.

Coleman Yee is a Senior UX Consultant at DBS Bank in Singapore, focusing on institutional banking. He writes about design thinking, education, and UX topics such as user interviews and accessibility. His work addresses common UI/UX design issues, particularly those related to accessibility standards.
