With nearly three decades of experience making websites, Ste has worked as a web developer, webmaster, interaction designer, UX designer, UI designer, and product designer. He has worked with both large and small organizations, and while he hasn't worked for FAANG companies, he has worked for several startups in Richmond, VA. He has written articles about design and development at UXcellence and once designed an icon that appeared in an Apple keynote.

Tania Rascia is a software engineer and open-source creator. She has been making websites since 1998 and writing on her blog for over ten years. She currently works as a principal software developer. Her website features tutorials, projects, and notes on a variety of development topics. She has also published articles and books on topics such as GraphQL, JavaScript, and the DOM.

Dave Kiss is a father of two, maker, and community builder living in Northeast Ohio. He currently works as a Sr. Developer Community Lead at Mux. Dave helps make the internet and has been building things for the web since his first Kool-aid fan site in 2004. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and helping others with JavaScript, online sales, and meetups. He values autonomy, ownership, and collaboration, and prioritizes remote work.

George Mandis is an engineering leader, writer, and creative technologist with over 17 years of experience. He has held roles such as director of engineering, engineering manager, full-stack software engineer, consultant, and conference speaker. Since 2006, he has been working professionally with computers, starting his own consultancy in Portland, Oregon. Most recently, he was the director of engineering at Axios HQ and is currently seeking new opportunities. George has spoken and led workshops at numerous conferences, presenting on JavaScript and "joyful programming." He also runs a web development bootcamp and mentors others. He attended the Recurse Center in New York City in 2020.

Corey Brown is Head of Editorial, a speaker, and a musician. He has expertise in AI-Augmented Decision-Making and Data-Driven Content Strategy. Corey has been building websites since 1995, focusing on content and growth through publishing, contextual commerce, user-generated content, social media, and designing and building content management engines. He is the founder and CEO of No Treble, and co-founded Squidoo.com with Seth Godin. He speaks on topics including Design Systems, building web traffic, publishing, and technology. David Wolfpaw is an artist, web developer, and a "troublemaker for good." They handle WordPress maintenance and support via FixUpFox and speak, write, and consult about WordPress, business processes, and productivity. David builds websites, often using WordPress since 2008. They are a proponent of the IndieWeb movement and teach workshops on building things for the web. David was the lead organizer of the WordPress Orlando Meetup from 2012-2020 and an organizer of WordCamp Orlando. They are queer, latine, and neurodivergent and live near Orlando, FL.

Steven Irby is a builder, creator, and maker of things on the internet. Originally from the United States, and a native Californian, he previously lived in Portland, Oregon. He has lived abroad for over five years and traveled to all seven continents (visiting Antarctica for a week). With over a decade of experience as a remote software engineer in the tech industry, he is now pursuing entrepreneurship. He enjoys traveling, space, food, taking pictures, and tech.

Derek Houck is a Ruby on Rails software engineer. Raised in Kansas City, Missouri, he remembers the early days of the internet, including GeoCities and table-based layouts. He specializes in test-driven development using Ruby on Rails and React, and has experience with Node.js, WordPress, static site generators, React Native, SQL, and NoSQL. He previously pursued a career as an actor, appearing in shows like Community and United States of Tara. He believes his entertainment background provides him with unique communication and problem-solving skills.

Serena Chen is a designer, writer, and web tinkerer. She cares about creating well-crafted technology for a more kind and just world. She has been making and breaking the web since 1999. While her formal training is in physics and mathematics, she enjoys working in the intersections between fields. She works as a Staff Interaction Designer on Chrome, leading UX for Chrome Security. She has worked on projects such as A Clear Dawn, Project Zero, and Lunar Calendar.

Mark works at Microsoft in Redmond, WA on a UI engineering team building a design system for marketing and store experiences. He is also an advocate for people-first company culture, remote work, and constant learning. Outside of work, Mark is a husband, dad, drummer, entrepreneur, and photographer. He co-founded the Seattle Whiskey Collective.

Bryan Braun is a Frontend/Fullstack Engineer currently building web applications at ClassDojo. Based in the American Midwest, he uses design and code to help people. He has spent the last 12 years building web products for startups, Fortune 500 companies, Stanford University, The White House, and other organizations. He writes about side-projects, web development, education, and things that inspire him. He is a husband and father, and enjoys listening to audiobooks, practicing the piano, and building lego worlds with his kids.

Uri Shaked makes stuff, writes, and speaks. He is currently working on Wokwi and Tiny Tapeout. He creates projects such as Wokwi, an online embedded systems simulator, and Tiny Tapeout, an affordable way to manufacture custom ASICs. He also created The Skull, a hardware CTF challenge, and The Salsa Beat Machine, a virtual salsa band practice tool. Uri Shaked also blogs about various topics, including hardware crowdfunding, ESP32 debugging, and Arduino simulation. Kevin Clelland works at a bank and struggles at triathlon, photography, coding, and guitar.
