Nick Benton is an Engineering Manager at Facebook in London, supporting the Hack London team and the Facebook Languages Research (FLaRe) team in Paris. His research ranges from proof theory and categorical logic, through semantics of programming languages and static analyses, to programming language design and compiler implementation. He has a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science, both from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow Commoner of Queens' College, where he was previously a Bye-Fellow. Before joining Facebook, he spent 18 years at Microsoft Research in Cambridge. Prior to that, he was an SERC Research Fellow, an RA on an EU ESPRIT project and Senior Research Scientist at Persimmon IT, Inc. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of Computer Languages, Systems and Structures (Elsevier) and is currently a member of the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Functional Programming (CUP) and Logical Methods in Computer Science.

Imran Iqbal is a tech enthusiast who enjoys building software and exploring new technologies. He is currently focused on AI/ML and cloud computing. Wang Haozhe is a Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Professor Heng Ji. His research interests lie in Natural Language Processing, with a focus on Information Extraction and Knowledge Graph Construction. He is also interested in Multimodal Learning and Commonsense Reasoning. Before joining UIUC, he received his bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
