He also designed the communication materials for the NSL Colloquium "Beyond Maintenance," focusing on typography that reflects the event's themes of landscape and change. Prior to Google, she spent 20 years as a freelancer and business owner, founding edgeofmyseat.com in 2001 and launching Perch CMS in 2009 and Notist in 2018.

Harold Treen is a software engineer with experience at Facebook on the Design Tools team, and previously at Squarespace where he built Internal Tools and launched Squarespace Marketplace. He has also worked as a contractor for companies like Dooly and Readme. Harold attended the Recurse Center, a self-directed educational retreat for programmers, and worked on self-directed projects like EpubPress. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Queen's University and has held internships at Mobify, Pivotal Labs, Microsoft, and Xtreme Labs.

Sean Twomey is a South African Mediapreneur and Online Marketing Strategist. He completed his Marketing honours degree at the University of Cape Town. He is the founder of Posmay Media, a digital agency. Before that, he worked as a freelance computer programmer and graphic designer. He also undertook an apprenticeship as a journeyman printer and worked as program director of a radio station, office manager of a political campaign, co-publisher of a community Who’s Who, and as a graphic designer and publicist for a modern dance company.
