Heinrich Kümmerle was born in Heilbronn on October 30, 1962, and grew up there. He was baptized and confirmed in the Nikolaikirche. He attended the Dammgrundschule and the Robert-Mayer-Gymnasium. As a student, he was politically active and volunteered with the German Life Saving Association. After graduating from high school, he served in the military and became a career officer, completing his academic training as a Diplom-Pädagoge at the Universität der Bundeswehr in Munich. He has been married to a woman from Heilbronn for over 30 years and is the father of two sons. He served his country for several years abroad. He is the Kreisvorsitzender of the EUROPA-UNION Heilbronn. After his retirement, he and his wife returned home. He was chairman of the Freie Wähler for two years.

In 2017, he turned the app over to another developer. Today, Jim works as the Director of Salesforce Applications for VIZIO, now owned by Walmart, where he runs the team responsible for their Salesforce initiatives. He is a Salesforce certified administrator, developer, and consultant. Other nerdy experience includes Microsoft SQL, MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and just enough Java. In his spare time, he likes to write code, spend time with friends and family, play music, and enjoy getting outdoors on a hiking trail.

Tom studies geology, reads essays and science fiction, and writes essays. He also enjoys hiking, running, gardening, and cooking. Currently, he is learning to play the piano. Tom retired in 2018 after more than three decades in R&D at SPI, Apple, and IBM. His work involved studying and designing novel interactive systems, drawing on sociology, rhetoric, architecture, and urban design.
