Michael J. Gibbs is the owner and operator of Exhibit A Communications, located in southern California. He was a founding member and Chief Technical Officer of MediaSpan Online Services, where he oversaw the technical infrastructure and programming departments supporting over 2,000 media clients. He is currently the Chief Design Officer at Newfangled and Magnolia, where he manages all things design. He has consulted over 200 creative, digital, and marketing firms on understanding audience attention and leveraging design and technology. He is also the author of *The Strategic Web Designer*.

Dr. Doug Belshaw is based in Northumberland and has had a varied career. He works primarily through We Are Open, a cooperative he helped set up in 2016, and occasionally through his personal consultancy, Dynamic Skillset. He is interested in many things but is best known for his work on digital literacies. He successfully defended his doctoral thesis on the topic and then wrote a book entitled The Essential Elements of Digital Literacies. He is also known for his evangelism of Open Badges. He was also Product Manager of MoodleNet. He aims to make the world a better place.

Alton is a resident of Orange County, where he lives with his wife and daughter. He is the creator of What's Brew, a website dedicated to sharing public information about himself. Alton is an avid home brewer with a passion for beer. His website covers his interests, including his real estate business, family life, and other things he loves. Travis Northcutt is an essayist who also does some other stuff. Daniel Tyrkiel is a Permaculture Designer, Social Entrepreneur, and sometimes an Artist. His focus is on speeding up the transition to organic food production in the UK through the mass production of biologically rich compost.
